Our Mission

Nomad Nirvana is a traveling bookstore and book club for misfits, creatives, and queers to find community in suburban Georgia.

We provide a respite and safe haven where communities across Georgia can explore new worlds and return to this one energized to make change.

What is a traveling bookstore?

We don’t have a brick and mortar location, but you can find us all around the Georgia burbs (primarily in Metro ATL). Our book club meets monthly in rotating locations, allowing book club members to meet new people AND explore new places each time. We also pop up at markets across the region, where we sell book club picks and associated merch (all made in-house). And we’ll be introducing a virtual book club soon, for those outside Metro ATL. We’re always looking to partner with local spaces to hold events geared towards building creative community beyond ATL.
